November 6, 2021, Angier Rotary Club hosted our 2nd Art Auction/Vendor event in partnership with the Whole Vet Building Lives Together Car Show at the Angier Depot in downtown Angier. WholeVet is a nonprofit providing career transition tools, business events and support to transitioning military veterans and their families to ensure they have a great civilian career and life- see more here. The cars/motorcycles showcased from 10-3 with Awards at 3pm. The Art Auction items were open for bidding 10-2pm, then all buyers paid for their purchases 2-3pm and took them home!! In addition to the Art Auction, local artists who donated items had booths with other creations for sale during the event. We had some beautiful items from our locally talented artists – see some pictures here- but we also had jewelry sets, pottery, ornaments, woodart/signs, framed prints, birdhouses. Live music was provided throughout the day by local Ellington Studio musicians and awards for select cars were given.
